This lanyard has two handles. One is a medium holder and the other is a large handle. Both handles are metal and shielded with nylon. The central handle is very supportive when the main handle falls out of your hands - it keeps it from dropping too low, so you don't have to lean over. There is a quick release buckle on both ends of the main handle. The tie-down has velcro on both sides for your convenience.
